On Christmas Day we flew with Jonathan Steinberg to the Kansas City Regional, where we played as a team with him and Martin Hunter. The tournament went from December 26, 2005 to January 1, 2006.

 

It was a great tournament! We stayed at the Westin hotel, where the tournament was held, and there were so many fabulous restaurants and interesting things to do nearby- not to mention the bridge!

 

We won a compact KO and came in 2nd in another, won a regular KO, and tied for 7th/8th in the Swiss. Dan and Susie came in 2nd in a side pairs game as well. As a team, we won over 50 masterpoints. The tournament was a lot of fun and we hope to return again one day.
